rejoneo
   This term refers to bullfighting performed wholly from horseback, by a rejoneador, employing a stable of highly schooled horses. A throwback to the pre-eighteenth-century aristocratic bullfight, rejoneo has enjoyed renewed popularity in recent decades, thanks to such rejoneadores as Alvaro Domecq Díez and his son Alvaro Domecq Romero, the brothers Angel and Rafael Peralta, Fermín Bohórquez and his son, also Fermín, Manuel Vidrié, Javier Buendía, Luis and Antonio Domecq, Ginés Cartagena, his nephew Andy Cartagena and Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza. Many rejoneadores still come from the upper reaches of Spanish society.
